To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report sets out the findings of a consultation exercise into the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ on Northgate Road and Edgeley Road, Edgeley and seeks approval to the introduction of the order.

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of a Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the findings of a consultation exercise into the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order to introduce ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ on Northgate Road and Edgeley Road, Edgeley and seeking approval to the introduction of the Order.

RESOLVED – (1) The Area Committee was minded to approve the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Northgate Road and Edgeley Road, Edgeley, at an approximate cost of approximately £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Edgeley and Cheadle Heath Ward allocation):-

Traffic Regulation Order – Schedule

Northgate Road – No Waiting at Any Time

West side – from the intersection of its kerb line of Edgeley Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction

West side – from a point 32 metres north of the intersection of its kerb line of Edgeley Road for a distance of 17 metres in a northerly direction.

East side – from the intersection of its kerb line of Edgeley Road for a distance of 52 metres in a northerly direction.

Edgeley Road – No Waiting at Any Time

North side – From the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Northgate Road for a distance of 9 metres in a easterly direction

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order can be made.
