To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services
The report outlines the intention to agree the variation of the current long lease of 6, 8 nd 10 Millgate, Stockport from commercial use to residential use which will ensure that the Council retains an annual income from the asset or alternatively the receipt of a premium.
The Area Committee is requested to consider the contents of the report and provide any comments.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the Council’s intention to agree to the variation of the current long lease of 6,8 and 10 Millgate, Stockport from commercial use to residential use which would ensure that the Council retains an annual income from the asset or alternatively the receipt of a premium.
RESOLVED – That the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support Services be advised that the Area Committee supports the proposal.

The report sets out an application by the Cale Green Residents Association - Park Group to hold a Summer Fun Day in Cale Green Park on Sunday 26th June 2016.
The Area Committee is recommended to approve the application, subject to the production of the appropriate paperwork and the completion of the event application checklist.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) regarding an application from the Cale Green Residents’ Association – Park Group to hold a Summer Fun Day in Cale Green Park on 26 June 2016.
RESOLVED – (1) That an application from the Cale Green Residents’ Association – Park Group to hold a Summer Fun Day in Cale Green Park on 26 June 2016 be approved, subject to the production of the appropriate paperwork, the completion of the event application checklist and no goldfish being used as prizes.
(2) That should the organiser contravene the Council’s policy with regard to no goldfish being used as prizes, then approval would not be granted by this Area Committee in the future to applications for Summer Fun Days at Cale Green Park.
