Councillors discussed the background to the proposal and the problems reported by residents.

(2) That the Chief Executive be requested to liaise with local councillors and Traffic Services as to the timing of the installation of the barrier to ensure that the implementation of the proposal does not cause undue pressure on the availability of parking for residents, and to liaise with ward councillors as to the distribution of keys to the lock for the barrier.
