To consider a report of the Chief Executive

 

The report sets out comments received to the objections received to the proposed implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders on Queens Road and Buckingham Road, Cheadle Hulme.

 

The Area Committee is recommended that, notwithstanding the objections received, the Order be made as advertised.

Minutes:

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Chief Executive (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the objections received to the proposed Traffic Regulation Orders on Queens Road and Buckingham Road, Cheadle Hulme and the comments of the Highway Engineer on them.

 

RESOLVED – That the second objection to the Traffic Regulation Order be supported so that the following part of the schedule be amended as follows:-

 

Proposed No Waiting Monday – Friday 8.30am – 9.30am and 3.00pm – 4.00pm

 

Buckingham Road, Cheadle Hulme - south east side, from a point 4 metres north of the projected north easterly kerb line of Carlton Avenue for a distance of 35 metres in a south westerly direction.(to replace the advertised proposal for No Waiting At Any Time on the road).
