To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report outlines the results of an investigation into parking concerns at the junction of Victoria Avenue and Cheadle Road, Cheadle Hulme.

 

The Area Committee is requested to recommend the Executive Councillor (Supporting Places) to approve the statutory legal advertising of a No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the results of an investigation into parking concerns at the junction of Victoria Avenue and Cheadle Road, Cheadle Hulme.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Supporting Places) be requested to approve the legal advertising of the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Cheadle Road and Victoria Avenue, Cheadle Hulme at an approximate cost of £525 to be funded from Ward Delegated Budget (Cheadle Hulme North allocation) and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made:-

 

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

 

Cheadle Road, Cheadle Hulme, north side - from a point 10 metres  south east of the south eastern kerbline of Victoria Avenue to a point 10 metres north west of the north western kerbline on Victoria Avenue.

 

Victoria Avenue, Cheadle Hulme - both sides, 15 metres north east of the north eastern kerbline of Cheadle Road for a distance of 5 metres in a south westerly direction.
