In respect of plan no. 55626 for the development of residential accommodation with care (Use Class C2) comprising 50 apartments for persons aged 60 and over, with associated communal facilities, access, parking and landscaping at the former Autosave and Bridge Works, School Brow, Romiley,
two members of the public spoke against the application for a total of three minutes; and
the applicant’s agent spoke in support of the application.

RESOLVED – That the Planning & Highways Regulation Committee be recommended to grant planning permission subject to the imposition of conditions relating to the provision of speed warning markings and advance junction warning signage relating to the access/egress to the proposed development.
