To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

The report outlines the Enforced Sales Procedure (ESP) and advises of the intention to use the ESP to acquire No 15 Gloucester Road, Heald Green, in order to recover the debt and to bring the property back into beneficial residential use.

The Areas Committee is requested to support, in principle, the acquisition of 15 Gloucester Road, Heald Green using the Enforced Sales Procedure or, if necessary, the use of compulsory purchase powers.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) outlining the Enforced Sales Procedure and advising of the intention to use the procedure to acquire no. 15 Gloucester Road, Heald Green in order to recover the debt and to bring the property back into beneficial residential use.

RESOLVED – That approval be given, in principle, to the acquisition of 15 Gloucester Road, Heald Green using the Enforces Sales Procedure or, if necessary, the use of compulsory purchase powers.
