To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report considers the outcome of an investigation into parking at the junction of Church Road and Stonepail Road, Gatley.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Church Road and Stonepail Road, Gatley and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) regarding the outcome of an investigation into parking at the junction of Church Road and Stonepail Road, Gatley.

 

RESOLVED - The Area Committee be minded to approve the making of the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Church Road and Stonepail Road, Gatley, at an approximate cost of £600, to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation):-

 

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

 

Church Road, Gatley - north west side, from a point 10 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Stonepail Road to a point 5 metres south west of the south westerly kerb line of Stonepail Road.

 

Stonepail Road, Gatley - north east side, from the north westerly kerb line of Church Road for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction.

 

Stonepail Road, Gatley - south west side, from the north westerly kerb line of Church Road for a distance of 13 metres in a north westerly direction.

 

(2) That approval be given to the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
