To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report considers the findings of an investigation into concerns regarding parking on residential roads adjacent to a local clinic in the vicinity of Councillor Lane, Cheadle.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to request the Executive Councillor (Communities and Sustainability) to approve the statutory legal advertising of a Traffic Regulation Order on Councillor Lane, Evesham Road, Calderbrook Drive and Hereford Road, Cheadle and proposed access protection markings and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order be made.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) regarding the findings of an investigation into concerns regarding parking on residential roads adjacent to a local clinic in the vicinity of Councillor Lane, Cheadle.

 

RESOLVED – That the Executive Councillor (Communities and Sustainability) be recommended to approve the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made:-

 

Revocation of No Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am – 9am & 3.15pm – 4.30pm

 

Councillor Lane, Cheadle - south west side, from  a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Hereford Road for a distance of approx. 108 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Evesham Road, Cheadle - both sides, from the south westerly kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

          Proposed No Waiting at Time

 

Councillor Lane, Cheadle - south west side, from a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Calderbrook Drive to a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Calderbrook Drive.

 

Councillor Lane, Cheadle - south west side, from a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Evesham Road to a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Evesham Road.

 

          Councillor Lane, Cheadle - south west side, from a point 10 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Hereford Road to a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Hereford Road.

 

          Calderbrook Drive, Cheadle - both sides, from the south westerly kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

Evesham Road, Cheadle -both sides, from the south westerly kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

Hereford Road, Cheadle - both sides, from the south westerly kerb line of Councillor Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

Proposed Bus Stop Clearway

 

Councillor Lane, Cheadle - south west side, from a point 21 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Hereford Road for a distance of 18 metres in a south easterly direction.

(2) That the Executive Councillor (Communities and Sustainability) be recommended to introduce access protection markings at 246 Councillor Lane, Cheadle and 248 Councillor Lane & 1 Evesham Road, Cheadle.
