To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration.

The report seeks approval for the introduction of parking restrictions at the junctions of Southwood Road with Delamere Road and Cedar Road; Norwood Road with Delemare Road and Linden Grove in Great Moor.  This is to regularise anomalies in existing restrictions in these location.

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the restrictions set out in the report.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) inviting the Area Committee to consider a proposed Traffic Regulation Order to cover Southwood Road, Delamere Road, Cedar Road and Linden Grove, Great Moor. The proposal was to regularise anomalies in previous Orders made for these locations.

RESOLVED – That the following Traffic Regulation Order be approved:-

Revoke No Stopping Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm on School Markings:

Southwood Road

North West side from a point 9 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Claremont Road for a distance of 44.5metres in a South Westerly direction.

Revoke No Waiting at Any Time:

          Southwood Road

          South East side from a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerb line of Delamere Road to a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Delamere Road.

          Delamere Road

          Both sides from the South Easterly kerb line of Southwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a South Easterly direction.

          Both sides from the North Westerly kerb line of Norwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a North Westerly direction.

          Norwood Road

          North West side from a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerb line of Delamere Road to a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Delamere Road.

          Both sides from the North Easterly kerb line of Linden Grove for a distance of 10 metres in a North Easterly direction.   

          Linden Grove

          North East side from a point 10 metres North West of the North Westerly kerb line of Norwood Road to a point 10 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Norwood Road.

          Southwood Road

          South East side from a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerb line of Delamere Road to a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Delamere Road.

          North West side from a point 5 metres North East of the North Easterly kerb line of Cedar Road to a point 5 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Cedar Road.

          Delamere Road

          Both sides from the South Easterly kerb line of Southwood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a South Easterly direction.

          Both sides from the North Westerly kerb line of Delamere Road for a distance of 10 metres in a North Westerly direction.

          Cedar Road

          Both sides from the North Westerly kerb line of Southwood Road for a distance of 5 metres in a North Westerly direction.

          Norwood Road

          North West side from a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerb line of Delamere Road to a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerb line of Delamere Road.

          Both sides from the North Easterly kerb line of Linden Grove for a distance of 5 metres in a North Easterly direction.   

          Linden Grove

North East side from a point 6 metres North West of the North Westerly kerb line of Norwood Road to a point 5 metres South East of the South Easterly kerb line of Norwood Road.

(2) That the Corporate Director for Place Management & Regeneration be recommended to make arrangements to publish this Order in conjunction with the proposals at Vaudrey Drive in order to reduce the advertising costs for both proposals.
