To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

To report the findings of a consultation exercise following concerns regarding traffic issues in the vicinity of Gatley Reformed Church on Elm Road, Gatley.

 

The Area Committee is recommended to approve the Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in the report.

A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) regarding the findings of a consultation exercise following concerns regarding traffic issues in the vicinity of Gatley United Reformed Church on Elm Road, Gatley

 

RESOLVED – That approval be given to the following Traffic Regulation Order at an approximate cost of £800 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation):-

 

Revocation of No Waiting 8.00am – 11.00pm

 

Elm Road, Gatley - north east side, from a point 42 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Church Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Proposed Disabled Persons Parking Bay (Blue Badge Holders Only)

 

Elm Road, Gatley - north east side, from a point 42 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Church Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a south easterly direction.

         

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time

 

Elm Road, Gatley - south west side, from the north westerly kerb line of Hawthorn Road for a distance of 100 metres in a north westerly direction (to join with the existing No Waiting at Any Time).

 

Elm Road, Gatley - north east side, from the north westerly kerb line of Hawthorn Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

 

Hawthorn Road, Gatley - north west side, from a point 10 metres south west of the south westerly kerb line of Elm Road to a point 10 metres north east of the north easterly kerb line of Elm Road.
