To receive a report from the Leader of the Council on -

 

(i) the number of councillors appointed to the Executive;

(ii) appointments made to the Executive;

(iii) the appointment  of the Deputy Executive Leader (Deputy Leader of the Council); and

(iv) the allocation of responsibilities (portfolios).

The Executive Leader (Leader of the Council) reported that she had appointed a Deputy Executive Leader (Deputy Leader of the Council) and other members of the Executive.

 

As highlighted in the 2015/16 Stockport Council Plan, approved by Council in February, new portfolios had been developed which are structured around the Investing in Stockport outcomes framework. Whilst there had been assignment of responsibilities to each portfolio there may be a requirement to review during the year should the need arise. The new Executive would be responsible for these portfolios as indicated:-
