Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Economy & Regeneration has:-

 

(1) Given approval to Proposals A, B and C as outlined in the report and to the legal advertising of the associated package of Traffic Regulation Orders (as detailed in Appendix C of the report), and subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the Orders.

 

(2) Does not approve Proposal D (Cheadle Road Parallel signal crossing) and a further study and consultation is undertaken on revised proposals, focussing in particular on the position of the crossing and bus stop in order to improve safety, which will be brought to a future meeting of the relevant area committees.

 

The Cheadle and Central Stockport area committees considered the above proposals and gave their consent insofar as they related to Local Distributor and Local Access Roads within their purview.
