The Area Committee was minded to approve the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order on Old Chapel Street/Bulkeley Street, Edgeley, as shown on drawing number NM8/4135/02A attached to the report, at a cost of £660 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Manor Ward allocation):-

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order – No Waiting At Any Time

Old Chapel Street

South East side - From a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerbline of Bulkeley Street to a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerbline of Bulkeley Street.

North West side - From a point 5 metres South West of the South Westerly kerbline of Bulkeley Street to a point 10 metres North East of the North Easterly kerbline of Bulkeley Street.

Bulkeley Street

South West side - From a point 10 metres South East of the South Easterly kerbline of Old Chapel Street to a point 5 metres North West of the North Westerly kerbline of Old Chapel Street.

North East side - From a point 10 metres South East of the South Easterly kerbline of Old Chapel Street to a point 10 metres North West of the North Westerly kerbline of Old Chapel Street.

The Area Committee further approved the statutory legal advertising of the Traffic Regulation Order and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.

Introduce the original proposals shown on drawing number NM8/4135/02, but residents were concerned about the lack of available parking space for themselves and their visitors.
