Decision:

The Well-managed Highways Infrastructure Code of Practice (WMHI) was published in 2016. As part of the process to deliver the policies and plans for the implementation of the WMHI it was identified that The Council needed to review its Functional Network Hierarchy (FNH). The Method for doing this was presented to the Cabinet with the final version to be approved by the Corporate Director. The final version of the FNH was used to review the Gritting Network to insure that the routes are receiving appropriate maintenance regimes. The approval of the Gritting Network was also to be done by the Corporate Director

The proposed Gritting Routes and placement of Grit Bins and the Proposed FNH were approved.
