The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has considered a proposal to convert an existing free resident permit parking scheme on Thomson Street to a chargeable scheme and has agreed the legal advertising of the following Traffic Regulation Orders and subject to no objections being received within 21 days from the advertisement date the following Orders being made:

North West side from a point 10 metres South West of the South Westerly kerbline of Frances Street to the North Easterly kerbline of Hope Terrace

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order - Resident Permit Holders only

Thomson Street, Stockport

 

North West side from a point 10 metres South West of the south westerly kerbline of Frances Street for a distance of 38 metres in a South Westerly direction, and from a point 58 metres South West of the south westerly kerbline of Frances Street for a distance of 113 metres in a South Westerly direction.

 

The £1750 costs of the scheme are to be met from the Parking Budget.

 

The Central Stockport Area Committee supported the proposals.
