The Area Committee has:-
1) Given approval to the installation of bollards on Cavendish Road and Didsbury Road and the provision of new ‘School;’ warning signs with flashing wag-wags on Didsbury Road and as detailed on the plan appended to the report.
2) Recommended that the Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing gives approval to the legal advertising of the package of traffic regulation orders detailed in Appendix A of the report and, subject to the receipt of no objections within 21 days of the advertisement date, the subsequent making of the orders.
3) Noted that both elements of the scheme at (1) and (2) above would be funded from the Road Safety around Schools programme budget allocation.
