The Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing has approved the installation of 15 bollards on Stockport Road in front of the shops in Cheadle Heath in order to prevent inappropriate parking on the pavements and to improve road safety, as detailed on Drawing No NM18-6151-01 accompanying the report.
The £3750 cost of the scheme is to be met from the Cabinet Member budget because Stockport Road is a strategic route.
The Central Stockport Area Committee supported the proposals.
