The Area Committee has considered the findings of an investigation into residents’ concerns regarding parking vehicles causing reduced visibility on Crossefield Road and Meadway Road, Cheadle Hulme and approved the following Traffic Regulation Order at an approximate cost of £650 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget:-

Meadway Road, Cheadle Hulme, west side from a point 10 metres south of the southerly kerb line of Crossefield Road (west junction) to a point 10 metres north of the northerly kerb line of Crossefield Road.
Crossefield Road, Cheadle Hulme, both sides from the westerly kerb line of Meadway Road (west junction) for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
Meadway Road, Cheadle Hulme, both sides, from the southerly kerb line of Crossefield Road (north junction) for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
Crossefield Road, Cheadle Hulme, south side, from a point 12 metres west of the westerly kerb line of Meadway Road (north junction) to a point 13 metres east of the easterly kerb line of Meadway Road.
Crossefield Road, Cheadle Hulme, north side, from the projected westerly kerb line of Meadway Road for a distance of 6.5 metres in an easterly direction.
The Area Committee has also agreed that access protection markings be introduced.
