Purpose:

The Stockport Together partnership Chief Executives met in early September to review the findings from an intensive listening exercise carried out during the summer. The meeting resulted in an agreement being reached by the Chief Executives to propose to the Council and the CCG (as commissioners) that they should undertake a formal stakeholder consultation during the autumn.

Decision:

The Cabinet considered the terms of a proposed formal stakeholder consultation by the Stockport Together commissioning partners on the substance of the Stockport Together draft Business Cases, developed following advice from the Consultation Institute, and agreed that

·         the Consultation Mandate be endorsed;

 

·         the Corporate Director for People, working in conjunction with the Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group Chief Operating Officer (as programme Senior Responsible Officers), in consultation with appropriate Cabinet Members, be authorised to agree the final detail of the consultation on behalf of the respective organisations following approval of the mandates.
