A representative of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles on Chester Street and Ford Street, Stockport.

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Executive Councillor (Communities and Housing) be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the following Waiting Restrictions Traffic Regulation Order at Chester Street and Ford Street, Stockport at an approximate cost of £1,100 to be funded with £550 from the Executive Highways delegated budget  and £550 from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Brinnington and Central Ward allocation):-

No Waiting Monday-Friday 8.00am-6.00pm

 

Chester Street, both sides - from a point 15 metres north west of the north westerly kerbline of Chestergate for a distance of 32 metres in a north westerly direction.

 

No Waiting Monday-Friday 8.00am-6.00pm

 

Ford Street, both sides - from the south westerly kerb line of Chester Street for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction.

 

(2) That, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made.
