Purpose:

Investing in Stockport is an ambitious change programme aimed at reforming pubic services and creating the conditions for sustainable economic and demographic growth in the Borough. The Programme includes a range of enabling and delivery reform programmes and projects which contribute to the overarching vision and outcomes of the Council.

This report presents the updated business cases for these programmes and projects, alongside the MTFP update, ahead of further consultation and development.

Decision:

The Executive considered an update about Stockport Together – Integrating Health & Social Care and agreed that:-

 

·           the ‘Plan D’ proposals set out in the report in respect of the financial year 2016/17 be approved; and,

·           the continued development of Stockport Together be supported, through the preparation of more detailed plans to create an integrated approach to providing for the health and care needs of the local population through pooled budget arrangements with the Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group.
