Decision Maker: Central Stockport Area Committee

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Decision:

The Area Committee has agreed to the following tree work to alleviate shading and encroachment problems:-

·         Woodbank Park – felling of trees to the rear of Bideford Road and Park Lane at an approximate cost of £5,500

·         St. Thomas’ Park – felling of trees to the rear of 45 George Street West at an approximate cost of £800

·         Nangreave Road – pruning of trees (mainly plane), at the A6 end, at an approximate cost of £5,000.

The works will be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Manor Ward allocation). The Area Committee has further agreed that £200 be ‘loaned’ from the Brinnington and Central Ward allocation in order to fund the overspend on the Manor Ward’s delegated budget.
