The Area Committee has agreed to the removal of the existing speed hump and its replacement with one pair of speed cushions (Option 1) at a cost of £2,500 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Highway Maintenance and Traffic Management Delegated Budget (Cheadle and Gatley Ward allocation).
Alternative options considered:
The alternative option was the removal of the existing speed hump and the reconstruction of a new 4.5 metres flat top speed hump constructed to the current specification (Option 2).
