The Area Committee has approved the following School Crossing Patrol upgrade on Outwood Road, adjacent to Outwood Road Primary School, Heald Green at an approximate cost of £2,300 to be funded from the Road Safety Budget:-
(i) Proposed No Waiting at Any Time
Outwood Road, Heald Green - south west side, from a point 10 metres north west of the north westerly kerb line of Gloucester Road to a point 15 metres south east of the south easterly kerb line of Gloucester Road.
(ii) Proposed construction of in-line dropped crossing with tactile paving
(iii) Proposed red anti-skid texture flex surface strips.
