Mark Iveson

Biography

Mark is a solicitor based in the Manchester office of national law firm Gateley LLP. He qualified in September 2006 with Halliwells LLP, prior to its administration. He specialises in all aspects of planning, highways and compulsory purchase law, together with associated environmental and local government issues. His day to day work involved Secretary of State call in inquiries, infrastructure and other statutory agreements, planning appeal, the promotion of applications, specific advice and High Court work.

Mark was Chairman of the Oldham Council Standards Committee for a number of years, prior to the amendments to the regime made under the Localism Act.
