In response, officers apologised for the delay in responding to the public question raised at the previous Planning & Highways Regulation Committee. It was commented that the Council had been investigating alleged breaches of planning control at the site and assessing the degree of harm that may be resulting from those breaches. Following these investigations, the Council was considering matters of expediency and proportionality in respect of commencing formal enforcement action in respect of those breaches of planning control on the site. It was noted that a formal written response would be provided following the meeting.
