Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA)
Description
The GMCA is made up of the ten Greater Manchester councils and a directly elected Mayor, who work with other local services, businesses, communities and other partners to improve the city-region.
As a body, the GMCA comprises the Leaders of the 10 constituent councils in Greater Manchester (or their substitutes) and is chaired by the Mayor for Greater Manchester. It meets on the last Friday of every month.
