The Council risk management framework and
strategy has been updated to ensure it is fit for purpose in the
dynamic environment the Council faces and includes the
following:
· Guidance on good practice for managing the various types
of risks;
· Understanding and determining the risk appetite at various
levels in the organisation;
· Stockport Council’s flexible approach to managing
and communicating risks; and
· Clarity around roles and responsibilities for managing
risks.
