Consultation process
All partners and a wide range of stakeholders
from all sectors contributed material to the Strategic Intelligence
Assessment (SIA) over a number of "Stakeholder Events" in summer
and autumn of 2021.
The SIA includes the data and intelligence that has informed the
development of the Plan. Local analysis of the Stockport cohort of
the regular GM Community Safety Surveys had also informed the
development of the Plan.
The Equity Network, a local forum addressing equalities issues
across a range of sectors (and co-ordinated by the Voluntary,
Community & Faith based, Social Enterprise and Charity sector)
was also engaged in shaping the Plan.
A cross-party Member Working Group has overseen development of the
Strategy from October 2021 to February 2022.
