Gambling Policy - Statement of Licensing Principles 2022-2025

The Gambling Act (2005) requires that all Licensing Authorities must publish a statement of the principles of licensing that they wish to apply when exercising their functions under the Act. This statement must be published at least every 3 years and is therefore due for review.

The Gambling Act (2005) requires Licensing Authorities to consult on the statement of principles before publication.

The Council Meeting will be asked to approve a new statement of principles taking into account the outcomes of the consultation.
