Consultation process

A full period of standard statutory consultation of a draft version of the SPD has been undertaken for 6 weeks from 9 January 2012.  This will include the consultation draft being sent to around 1500 individuals on the consultation database used by the Council’s Planning & Housing Service. The consultation period is also being advertised in the local press, and Area Committees will be consulted.

Equality and/or Environmental Impact Assessment: No. The SPD is Guidance to implement policy already set out in the Core Strategy. Impact Assessments were undertaken previously for the Core Strategy.
