Proposal to develop a 'Stockport Circle'
To obtain Executive approval to develop a ‘Stockport Circle’ should an application for match funding to the Social Impact Fund be successful. The Circle concept is an innovative model of community based support and facilitated community networking, in this case for people over the age of 50, to support overall wellbeing, quality of life and independence.

Consultation process
Initial consultation carried out with the portfolio holder, Corporate Leadership Team, Modernisation Reference Group (service users, carers and providers) and the Carer’s Partnership Board. Further consultation with Adults and Communities Scrutiny Committee and other stakeholders to be carried out if funding bid is successful.
