Well-Managed Highways Infrastructure: Code of Practice Update Report

The Well-managed Highways Infrastructure Code of Practice (COP) Code comes in to affect at the end of October. The new code contains no prescriptive or minimum standards. The Code advises Councils that it be used, in conjunction with the UKRLG Highway Infrastructure Asset Management Guidance, as the starting point against which to develop, review and formally approve highway infrastructure maintenance policy. This report provides for comment and adoption a set of policy/plan documents which are the result of that process.
