Stockport’s Growth and Reform framework was adopted in
October 2016 and is our approach to becoming locally self-financing
by 2020/21 as well as addressing a range of demand pressures.
At the 3rd October Cabinet Meeting a review of the MTFP was
presented, this was accompanied by an update on our Growth and
Reform programme outlining a series of saving proposals to address
budget pressures within 2018/19.
This report outlines a review of progress on two of Place
Directorate proposals and presents detailed Business Cases for a
further two proposals. These proposals will deliver savings from
non-pooled revenue budgets and will be presented to 14 November
Cabinet meeting.
