Proposed Replacement Of The Council's Telephony Systems

The Executive will be asked to consider the proposal relating to the replacement of the Council’s three existing corporate telephony systems which have now reached 'end of life' with a single system. This would involve the implementation of a single Unified Commination’s system based in the Council’s data centre

Reason for urgency:
In order that the Council can minimise the financial risk caused by currency fluctuations in procuring a new telephony solution, and to avoid further cost for the installation of communications solution in the new building being built on Edward Street, it is necessary for a decision to be taken as a matter of urgency without giving the required 28 days’ notice.
