Consideration of this item cannot reasonably be delayed as confirmation of the Compulsory Purchase Order is required to acquire all outstanding land requirements necessary for the redevelopment of Hopes Carr (Phase 4) in order to assist the Seddon Group (development partners) in being able to make a start on site at the earliest opportunity in order to meet Homes and Communities Agency funding requirements.
The Secretary of State referred the Order back to the Council for confirmation but there was insufficient time between this referral and the date at which a decision needed to be made for 28 days notice to be provided of the intention to take this decision.
