health, wellbeing and independence of people with learning
disabilities within the borough and give people choice and control
over their own lives.

Consultation process
This strategy has been developed alongside the
Learning Disability Partnership Board and the Speaking Out Group,
supported by Stockport Advocacy. The feedback and continued work
following Learning Disability Conference 2023 and 2024 has shaped
our vision for what a good life looks like for people with Learning
Disabilities.
