Stockport’s Voluntary Community Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector Strategy Progress

 

 

To update members on impact of work undertaken to achieve the ambitions set out in our Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector Strategy, in the 12 months from April 2023 to March 2024.
Specifically, the report references our support and achievements as they relate to VCFSE strategy priorities:
1.VCFSE Investment
2.VCFSE Capacity Building
3.Building Community Power through VCFSE partners
These priorities are also embedded within our ambitions for neighbourhood working, through Stockport’s Neighbourhoods and Prevention Programme (One Stockport Local).
We last presented an update to this committee in August 2023 VCFSE Strategy Update - August 2023. This report builds on that update and provides further detail on Stockport’s VCFSE sector.
