The local government finance settlement
announced the requirement for all local authorities to produce a
productivity plan, which needs to be submitted via email no later
than 19th July and published on the Councils website. The plan will
also require member oversight.
The purpose of the report is to provide CRMG with some information
on the guidance documentation that we have received and to set out
the Stockport approach to completion.
We are also seeking approval on the proposed governance
arrangements.
An agenda item will be brough to CLT in the coming weeks to give
members of CLT the opportunity to comment on the draft productivity
plan.
