Consultation process
The document has been prepared by consultants
Planit and 5plus Architects. Planning officers have worked closely
with the consultants to ensure that the guide is consistent with
Stockport’s ambitions. Furthermore, the guide has been
reviewed by a range of teams within the council, including the MDC,
regeneration, ecology, conservation, highways, drainage and CAN.
Consultation will be undertaken with the wider community prior to
the adoption of the document for a period of 6 weeks. Consultation
could either begin in March (pre-election) or could take place
immediately after the elections.
