The Cabinet previously considered the borough’s case for Metrolink, including the economic, environmental and housing benefit of key public transport investment to complement rail, interchange and active travel in our dynamic town centre at its meeting on 27 June 2023, and this report provides a further update on the progression of the ‘Next Stop Stockport’ project.
