Workforce challenges (recruitment and
retention) are still having a significant impact on capacity and
demand across health and social care services, and this is likely
to continue to be our highest risk into the future.
To meet these challenges, we will need a social care workforce,
which is agile and who puts the service user at the heart of what
they do, and able to work across services and partners to ensure
local people receive good quality, value for money services.
