Independent Care Review Completed January
2021-May 2022, chaired by Josh McAlister, former teacher and
founder of Front Line. Review's ‘wide ranging and ambitious
scope’ drew on previous reviews such as Munro Review of
Child Protection (May 2011) as well as
the Competition & Markets Authority Children's Social
Care Report (March 2022). Prioritised hearing
the voices of children, young people, parents and carers who had
received help or support from a social worker or who were in
care and those with care experience.
