This would provide much needed facilities in the Offerton area which has a large population, in an area where there is a significant lack of facilities. Such facilities would be extremely beneficial for the fitness and wellbeing of the residents in the Offerton area, and would also be of great benefit to the pupils of the three schools which are adjacent to the site. Such facilities would reduce the need for the Offerton residents to travel to facilities in other parts of the borough, and would develop local social and community opportunities.
