The recent council proposal to build housing in the green space and children's play area behind St Thomas' school will mean even less green space in Heaton Moor. Why should the local community accept that 25% of Heaton Moor Park is given to an under-utilized activity for the few? There is a perfectly good bowling green (with a lovely surrounding fence) in Thornfield Park for the bowlers to use. Sign the petition if you agree.
