The Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care has considered the responses to two consultations held between 28 November 2022 and 3 January 2023 in relation to the introduction of an Expedited Public Spaces Protection Order for vaccination centres and test and trace sites, and a further consultation held between 27 March and 24 April 2023 in relation to a proposal to replace the Expedited Public Spaces Protection Order with a three-year Public Spaces Protection Order with the same wording and effect.
The Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care has then given approval to the termination of the current Expedited Public Spaces Protection order and its replacement it with a three-year Public Spaces Protection Order and authorised the Assistant Director of Legal and Democratic Governance to take all steps to implement this decision.

Cheadle Heath Community Association for a grant of £1000 from
the Ward Flexibility Fund budget (£333.33 each from the
Davenport & Cale Green, Edgeley & Cheadle Heath and Manor
ward allocations) towards the cost of their 'Friendly Fridays'
summer picnic project to enables families to have fun together
without worrying about the cost of food and activities.
The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation
and are in agreement that it be made.

Stockport LGBT+ Centre CIC for a grant of £200 from the Ward
Flexibility Fund budget (£100 from the Davenport & Cale
Green and Edgeley & Cheadle Heath ward allocations) towards the
cost of providing refreshments (coffee and sandwiches) during and
after physical activities including walking with walking with
litter picks in local green spaces, weekly squash and tennis
sessions for all of the Stockport LGBTQIA+ community.
The ward councillors have been consulted on this grant allocation
and are in agreement that it be made.
