The Cabinet Member for Highways, Parks & Leisure Services has considered a number of objections received to the legal advertising of a Traffic Regulation Order (Elisabeth Mill S.106 Measures) that included a substantial package of traffic measures (road humps, speed cushions, 20mph zone and parking restrictions) in North Reddish attached to the Section 106 agreement for the Elisabeth Mill residential development, and has agreed that in the light of the objections the Orders should be made as advertised subject to the removal of the following elements:-

The Strategic Head of Service (Legal &
Democratic Governance) has given approval to an application from
Cheadle Heath Community Association for a grant of £500 from
the Ward Flexibility Fund budget (Edgeley & Cheadle Heath
allocation) towards the cost of a “Christmas Day” event
on Friday 16 December for everyone to come together to re-create
the feeling of a Christmas Day and reduce social isolation.
As the Edgeley & Cheadle Heath ward councillors are members of
the association, the Chair of the Central Stockport Area Committee
has been consulted on this grant allocation and is in agreement
that it be made
