The Cabinet has considered a proposal to extend until 31 March 2022 the contract between the Council and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the provision of health visiting, school nursing and Family Nurse Partnership services and details of an indicative timeline of the next steps, to ensure that Stockport continues to receive a high quality service.

The Cabinet has then given approval to the extension to 2022 of the contract between the Council and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the provision of health visiting, school nursing and Family Nurse Partnership service due to its potential financial value across the two years of the extension and the previous spend under what was intended to be a 1 year contract only.
