The Area Committee has given approval to a grant of £1,000 (£500 from the Marple North Ward and £500 from the Marple South Ward allocations) from the Ward Flexibility Budget to the Friends of Brabyns Park towards the cost of refurbishing the viewing platform and re-siting the commemorative bronze plaque that was installed in 2008 as part of the Iron Bridge Restoration Project.
